Mass Effect

So, I have to buy a video game tonight at midnight for the manfriend. He has been giddy as a sci-fi school girl for about three days and I'm about to place him in a glass case of emotion with my fist. He says the game will be "mind-poopingly awesome." I'm not sure how I feel about the 'mind-poopingly' part, but I'll agree that it's probably gonna be pretty awesome.

On the forefront of R4wk N3wz... Heart have just been added to the line-up of artists set to perform at Lilith Fair 2010. The female music festival will make its big comeback after an 11-year hiatus with stops in 15 new cities and other newly announced performers, including Loretta Lynn, Norah Jones, Gossip and Cat Power. "When I first started out, they said girl singers couldn't sell records or concert tickets," Lynn said in a statement. "We've come a long way since then . . ."

Also, while his bandmates are going ahead with auditions for a replacement singer, Aerosmith frontman Steven Tyler made a surprise appearance at a pub this week to sing karaoke. This marked his first public appearance since checking into rehab for prescription drug abuse. At the bar, Tyler initially said he wasn't going to sing, but eventually took to the stage for a rendition of "I Don't Want To Miss A Thing." The event's organizer told The Desert Sun the star was "very kind."

So, this is super ridiculous. A school in Southern California is banning the Merriam-Webster Dictionary because it has the definition of oral-sex. E-GAD! A definition?! Heaven forbid the most non-biased, objective documentation to EXPLAIN something to a curious on-looker! Here's the article.
